Un mini album chimérique, en français, en anglais et en espagnol dans le texte, où l'esprit pop se mêle à des visions plus sombres issues de la new wave et du krautrock. After 'La Féline ep', and 'Cent mètres de haut', 'Wolf & Wheel' is the new opus of the La Féline trio. A fanciful mini album, written in french, english and spanish, mixing pop spirit to darker visions recalling new wave and krautrock. The album, liven up with two bonus tracks, one of which is the already very appreciated 'Mystery Train', is also available in CD & vinyle. (Label: BS Records).

La Féline est un trio qui aime le cinéma, le fantastique, le beau et le bizarre. C’est au film de Jacques Tourneur "La Féline" (1942) que le groupe doit son nom. Alliant une voix claire, une guitare au son twang, une batterie du futur et des synthés vintage, Agnès, Stéphane et Xavier forment cette chimère à l’esprit sauvage et sentimental où la pop innocente des années 80 se mêle a des visions plus sombres, issues de la new wave et du krautrock.

« Accompagnée de la meilleure section rythmique de la place de Paris, Agnès mélange avec intelligence une foultitude d’influences pop et amène une fraîcheur qui manque à la chanson française. Cette pop sautillante et mélodique se revendique de l’indie mais pourrait tout aussi bien toucher un public plus large. »

I like this EP, especially the first two songs. "À La Divinité (The Belief Song)" is really good and "Le Royaume" is a clever re-work of the album version with additional English spoken words, a translation of the French lyrics. The two versions of "Comme Un Guerrier" are okay, too. Niton Decay
